The Irish Beach Water District is governed by a Board of Directors.  The positions are elected and are a 4-year term. Any property owner within Irish Beach is eligible to serve as a Director. Election of Directors are by ad valorem vote of property owners as specified in the California Water Code.

The Directors elect officers in accordance with the Water District by-laws. The current Directors and Officers are:

Board Meetings:  The Board of Directors meet on the second Saturday of every odd month at 10:00 a.m. at the Irish Beach Fire House located on 15401 Forest View Road. The by-laws provide for meeting every odd numbered month (ie: January, March,……) Agenda’s are posted 72 hours before the meeting on the community Kiosk’s, in the Firehouse and on the District web’s site. Agenda’s are posted 24 hours for Special meetings.

The District’s General Manager is Karen Vaughn, who works with Board Secretary, Heather Hackett, to handle billing issues, arranging for new connections, and will serve notices.  Day-to-day Operations of the water system are controlled by Water System Manager, Brant O’Dell, who supervises the Operations staff including RJ Dial, Eric Malm, Emilie Alsager, Rio Russell, and Charlie Acker.
